The Women's Health and Wellness Clinic is funded, in part, by grants through the Ohio Department of Health and the Federal Government. Serving women, their partners, and teens. The clinic offers women's annual exams, birth control and some reporductive life planning for women and men, pregnancy tests, and screening for some cancers and seually-transmitted infections.
Sexually Transmitted Disease Services
If you want to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases or think you may have an STD, Carroll County General Health District (CCGHD) provides screening and treatment for certain diseases. There is a minimum fee for some STD services. Medicaid and other insurance programs are accepted. All client information remains confidential. We are required to report suspected child abuse or neglect.
Services available include:
- Well-Women exams with breast and cervical cancer screenings
- Birth Control, including IUDs and implants available on-site
- Emergency contraception
- Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections for men and women
- Other services for men, including testicular exams and wellness education
- Walk-in options for counseling
- Education to plan a future pregnancy
- Health weight program
- Smotking cessation sessions
- Walk-in pregnancy testing

What to Bring: Picture ID and insurance card (if insured)
Cost: Our clinic is a sliding fee scale based on your income and household size. No one is refused care for inability to pay for services. Payments may be made by cash or credit card. Most insurance plans are accepted at our facility.
