Emergency Preparedness

Do you know what to do in an emergency situation?

There are steps that you can take to prepare not only yourself but your family as well in an emergency situation.

  • Build an emergency supply kit for your home, vehicle, and workplace.
    • Basic Disaster Supply Kit Recommendations:
      • Water. (1 gallon of water per person per day for at least 7 days.)
      • Food. (At least a 7-day supply of non-perishable food.)
      • Battery powered or hand crank radio.
      • Flashlight
      • First Aid Kit
      • Dust mask
      • Extra batteries
      • Duct tape
      • Moist towelettes
      • Garbage bags
      • Wrench or pliers
      • Can opener
      • Local maps
